From January to May 2025, the Indonesian Ministry of Finance transferred 396.25 billion rupiah under the Bali Village Financing Program. This represents 59.39% of the total plan for the year and exceeds the same period in 2024 by 6%. The funds have benefited 636 villages in nine regions of the island, including the largest recipients Buleleng (138.5 billion) and Tabanan (122.8 billion). The funding is earmarked for both targeted programs (290.44 billion) and untargeted (105.82 billion) and is used to support infrastructure, alleviate poverty and improve the quality of life in rural areas. All projects are aligned with village development plans and are monitored by local authorities. The remainder of the budget will be distributed by the end of 2025.
