As many as 7 huge cruise ships - MV Viking Orion, MS Paul Gauguin, MV Norwegian Sun and Seven Seas Mariner among others - called at the Port of Benoa from April 6 to 13.
An accomplishment for the island!
Agung Mataram, General Manager of Benoa Port, said that this was a historic event for Benoa Port. He added that such a flood of vessels is a great achievement for the island!
The popularization of Bali's maritime hub continues, and this is evident in the serious tourist traffic that enters the island through the port. For example, about 7,000 passengers passed through Benoa on April 6 alone. To ensure order, the port has beefed up security by adding another X-ray machine and setting up a police operational headquarters in the domestic terminal area.
